The Acting Studio- New York now offers professional quality, SELF-TAPING services provided by one of our professional associates, who is equipped with "state-of-the-art" equipment (camera, lighting, audio etc) and the Studio offers several self-tape rooms for taping on the premises.

SELF-TAPE PACKAGES

Basic
We film your video audition with professional camera and microphones, utilizing a proper background and lighting to enhance your look and your performance. Includes a reader to play any other characters or you can bring your own. You need to be ready with your part and make up.
Premium
Includes all the basic Self Tape features plus a professional coach that will help you to analyze your script and your role for acting on Television, Movies or Theatre. We will advise you how to optimize your video audition, increasing your chances with the casting directors.
Premium for Singers
With the Self-Tape Premium we can coach singing a musical number or any other vocal performance. We will choose for you the right music coach: musical director, vocal technique coach or audio producer. We will help you understand the meaning of the song and interpret the melody and the lyrics, translating this in the best self-tape audition.

AUDIO RECORDINGS
For self tape based on a music number we will use additional microphones to improve the quality of the sound having the best choice for the final editing and mixing. We may need to record an acoustic piano or use your backtrack on our final editing.

SLATE SHOTS
We can do your slate shot and include it at the end of your self-tape.

PROFESSIONAL EDITING (for video and audio)
We need extra time to finalize your self-tape, editing the video, doing color correction and mix the audio. It can take up to 48 hours and we will send to you by email after has been uploaded (example: Wetransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc) If you want the raw camera video shot, you need to bring your Hard Drive and we will give it to you at the end of your session. You may need a professional video player on you computer to be able to read it.

Self-Tape Basic: $ 95 / 1 hour
Includes recording and editing.
Self-Tape Premium: $185 / 1.25 hour
includes coaching, recording, editing and color correction.
Self-Tape Premium for Singers: $ 195 / 1 hour
Includes recording, editing and vocal coach. Piano player or vocal back track setup. Extra microphones and final audio mix.

Body shots, miscellaneous: Included in the Self Tape session time and rates.
Additional overtime: Additional fee is per 30 minutes block minimum or 60 minutes block
