The Meisner Summer Intensive acting class is a "summer-only," six-week intensive (3 classes per week) version of our Introduction to Meisner-Acting Technique 10-week class (2 classes per week). The six-week Summer Meisner Intensive class covers the beginning Meisner techniques from word repetition through the first application of the technique to a scene. In this acting class the actor works to learn and apply the most basic and fundamental of acting principles through a step-by-step progression of exercises that develop their ability to work organically, and to create captivating, truthfully expressive behavior in acting. Participation in this class is viewed as an audition/screening process for those beginning students who wish to continue training at the studio in the fall.A professional standard and well-regulated personal discipline is required of all students.
