Several methods of financial aid are available at the Studio for those students who qualify. Special late payment arrangements, non-interest funding, key-student and work/study positions (limited; and require vaccination), and partial-to-full* scholarships are available to qualified students, and some of which are only offered beyond the entry level of the Studio.
*Note: The Studio does not offer any "full-ride" scholarships to students new to the Studio.
Special Financial Arrangements - First-time applicants who are unknown to the studio may qualify for a special class tuition payment arrangement after having been admitted to a studio class. Special payment arrangment requests must be made at the time of registration. Terms will be set by the studio administrator and are to be kept by the student, or arrangement will be forfeited.
Financial Assistantships - To be considered for financial assistantship, a student must be known to the studio for a minimum of 2 months, and be considered a student in good standing worthy of assistance. Recipients are required to maintain their status as a "student in good-standing" by being an exemplary student with perfect attendance and excellent work ethics.
Memorial Scholarships - The studio is conservator over several scholarships available to people of age 32 or under:
Scholarships are awarded based on need and/or merit and come with the stipulation that the recipent remains to be a deserving student in good-standing with no lateness or absences. These scholarships allow recipients to fully participate in the practice, exercise, and study in acting classes at The Acting Studio - New York in order to become prominent, professional working actors/actresses.
