Over the years the Studio has hosted a wide range of visiting groups of high school and university students from out-of-state and abroad. The Acting Studio - New York is pleased to make its curricular training available to acting groups, high schools, universities, and organizations locally, nationally, and internationally in a variety of ways:
The Studio’s founding director and Sanford Meisner protege, James Price and his Studio staff are available to host you and your group here in New York or to travel out-of-state or overseas to conduct specialized lectures, workshops, and Master classes in the Meisner Acting Technique (Levels 1 & 2) and other specialty classes to high schools, universities, and theatre groups. The workshops are customizable, and the particulars can be worked out and to meet your needs and budget.

The Acting Studio - New York will be offering Masterclasses classes in both CAIRO and in ROME:
After a 15 year absence, Mr. Price will return to teach in actors in Cairo, Egypt.
There will be two seperate workshop classes: Meisner Acting Technique; Level1 and Scene Study / Rehearsal Technique.

Mr. Price will return to Rome this fall to conduct two Rome Master Classes in Meisner Technique (Levels 1 & 2) hosted in association with Teatro Golden.
This fall marks our 11th trip to Italy:
MEISNER ACTING TECHNIQUE; LEVELS 1 & 2: Sept 7-20,* 2025:
(*tentative dates; and are subject to change)
LEVEL 1: Sept 7-12, 2025 * (is open to beginners with good English skills, however, experience is desirable.)
LEVEL 2: Sept 15-20, 2025* (requires Level 1 skills developed in prior bonafide training in the Meisner technique)
Full tuition Merit Scholarships are awarded at the end of these sessions to the six most deserving students. These scholarships allow them to participate in six or ten-week acting programs at The Acting Studio - New York. The scholarships are valid for two years. Additionally, all participants receive a 30% discount on all classes offered at The Acting Studio - New York.
